Jaga Jazzist
Description:
Jaga Jajist, a Norwegian musical group that incorporates various styles from contemporary music, progressive rock, jazz, and electronica, has released their latest album "Pyramid", their first album in 5 years, on the Flying Lotus-led Brainfeeder label! The album is the band's first self-produced album in five years. The album, the band's first self-produced album, is not a concept album in itself, but rather a collection of songs that are all dedicated to the Japanese composer and synth player Isao Tomita, as well as "The Shrine," which was named after the live house where Fela Kuti was based. The title of each song is positioned as a conceptual starting point, and the listener can draw any story from the songs. The progressive band ensemble is entering a season of maturity, while the spiritual and psychedelic music between the lines is still in a state of bliss, as in the preceding single "Spiral Era," in which the minimalist playing of each instrument creates an organic symphony and scale, with the electronic sounds of an 80's jazz band at its source. The release from Brainfeeder is also an unquestionable work, overflowing with musical bliss. The limited-edition import LP is available on crystal clear vinyl with a pyramid-shaped die-cut outersleeve featuring a silver holographic assembled pyramid.
