Babolake to Collaborate on Beethoven! Babolake is finally working on a work by the musical saint Beethoven. He will perform the original Horn Sonata and Cello Sonata No. 4 in C major on horn. The album also features a work based on the "Moonlight" sonata by the contemporary composer Kleve, and a collaboration between Beethoven's music and the possibilities and fusion of horn playing. Babolak's concept for this album is to bring the timeless universality of Beethoven's music itself into focus in the present time with the horn instrument. With the support of Yoko Kikuchi, Babolak will present the young Beethoven's Horn Sonata and the Cello Sonata No. 4, Op. 107, which belongs to the later works as if it were written for horn, and the Sonata by Kleve, which sheds light on the stylistic beauty that bridges the classical and romantic periods, and on its universality in our time.
