To me, the Egyptian civilization and its history are among the most fascinating and mysterious periods in human history. I have been interested in ancient Egyptian symbols since childhood. This piece of jewelry is extraordinary for its depiction of the Tutankhamun mask on the coin, and it holds special significance because King Tut is a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization and perhaps the most recognized pharaoh internationally. The discovery of this pharaoh's tomb was one of the greatest archaeological finds that helped scientists and researchers uncover many insights into daily life, burial practices, art, and culture in Egyptian civilization. For me, this coin represents a link between the past and the future, preventing us from forgetting our roots as a civilization. I created this piece of jewelry to encourage the search for one's origins and to understand oneself, because only by knowing who we were can we comprehend who we are today.
