Fried Rice, known for blending anime music with jazz vibes, is about to launch a full-length album in two years, Anime Grooves Vol.4.

The album brings together 16 musicians, re-imagining a wide range of classic and recent anime soundtracks in fresh and unexpected ways. It explores new possibilities for vocal expression: rap, sampling, Vocaloid, spoken words, Cantonese vocals, and a cappella textures intertwine throughout the tracks, allowing each voice to develop its own character within the music.

Paired with a spring-themed cover illustration and lively, refreshing arrangements, this release becomes one of the most energetic and life-filled entries in the album series. Between fluid jazz improvisation and explosive rock grooves, characters and emotions from beloved anime are brought back to life, while familiar melodies take on entirely new colors through fresh sonic interpretations.

The Anime Grooves series is built around a simple idea:
“Transform familiar melodies into sounds that feel entirely new.”

So far, the series has produced three full-length albums and one special EP, accumulating millions of online plays and selling thousands of physical records.
