Goldenrod Citypop: Complete Edition is a double-album project, encompassing Goldenrod Citypop Gold & Silver, that takes you on twin journeys through the Johto region and beyond! With nearly 30 tracks honouring the second generation of Pokémon, these releases aim to recapture this era of the franchise through the lens of classic citypop. The GameGrooves roster contains some of the most skilled musicians in the VGM world today, all of whom brought their best to this project. With notes of jazz, new jack swing, fusion, R&B, funk, and more spicing up the track list, there’s a little something for everyone! 
Goldenrod Citypop was originally released by GameGrooves in 2024 and is now receiving a deluxe vinyl release that helps celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise.
This impressive 3LP release comes in a double back pocket gatefold jacket featuring new artwork by Patricio Thielemann. Special touches include the gold, silver and mixed vinyl records to indicate which version (Gold or Silver) you’re listening to, as well as an obi strip to provide that true citypop authenticity.
Goldenrod Citypop: Gold Version can be found on sides A, B and C of this release. Goldenrod Citypop: Silver Version takes over sides D, E and F.
