This is a postal stationery card issued in post-war Germany in 1946, franked with an imprinted 6 Pfennig violet Berlin "Worker" design. To cover the required postal rate, it bears an additional adhesive 6 Pfennig stamp from the 1946 "Numeral" definitive series of the Deutsche Post, also in violet. The card was mailed from Brandenburg on 10 July 1946 to Stendal, addressed to Dr. Schröder. It carries a clear cancellation tying the adhesive to the stationery, a common practice in the early Allied Occupation period. Such mixed usages of imprinted stationery with supplementary adhesives are of strong philatelic interest, reflecting the fluid postal rates and shortages in immediate post-war Germany.
