Time of Silence is undoubtedly one of the most important Spanish-language novels of the 20th century. When it was published in 1962, it marked a turning point in Spanish fiction and became a literary event worldwide through its translation into more than twenty languages. Since then, the novel has been read by millions of readers and has been adapted for film and theater. Now, for the first time, an artist establishes a visual dialogue with it. Included are twenty-one drawings based on the universe of Luis Martín-Santos, such that text and drawing interrelate and respond to each other, enriching the reader's experience.
