Kazuya Kise, one of Japan's top animators who has worked on numerous blockbusters, is the character designer. The art director is Osamu Masuyama, formerly of Studio Ghibli, prop design is by Takeshi Takakura, and the creature design is by super animator Kou Yoshinari, all of whom represent the best of Japanese animation. The animation production is handled by Kinema Citrus, a studio that produces hit films with a focus on creating the most beautiful visuals possible!★Popular and talented voice actors play unique characters, and the music and sound effects enhance the profound story! The role of Riko, a girl who yearns for her mother and aims for the depths of the Abyss, is played by Mimyu Tomita, an active high school girl who is currently enjoying her big break! The role of Reg, a robot boy with amnesia, is played by Mariya Ise, who is known for her acting and voice quality that combines cuteness and coolness! The role of Nanachi, a popular character with a beast-like appearance, is played by Shiori Izawa, well-known for her unique voice. The cast also includes Maaya Sakamoto as Liza, Riko's mother, Aki Toyosaki as Marluk, and Sayaka Ohara as Ozen, as well as other unique characters they meet along their journey. The music is composed by London-based composer Kevin Penkin, and sound director Yo Yamada will be in charge of the sound direction!
